Senior Software Developer
Location: Bangalore, India


eMerchantPay is looking for a Senior developer with a strong technical background, preferably with previous exposure to the payments industry, who is used to working as part of a dynamic project team.

The senior developer will be responsible for:
- Designing, implementing, and debugging of new or existing software components during the complete software lifecycle;
- Documenting and assuring the quality of software applications across all architectural layers;
- Performing Test driven development/ Behaviour driven development (TDD/BDD) using various tools – e.g. RSpec, Cucumber.

The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, likes to solve problems individually as well as part of the team. He/she has a strong focus on delivering results and quality code and takes ownership of his/her responsibilities.

Further requirements:
- IT degree level, preferably through education possibly through work experience;
- 2+ years working with Ruby and Ruby on Rails;
- 5+ years experience in developing web applications, Database server experience, good SQL skills Knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax.
- Fluent English, both written and verbal
- Enthusiastic person committed to deliver excellent quality with strong communication skills and a sense of humour.

Knowledge and or direct experience of the following considered an advantage:
- GitHub account with own projects;
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Backbone.js, etc);
- XML and Web Services (SOAP, REST);
- Experience working with NoSQL systems (document stores – MongoDB, CouchDB, key/value stores – Redis, etc.);
- Knowledge of OpenSSL, mod_security and general security;
- Linux;
- UML, Design Patterns;
- Scrum or other agile methodologies.

This position is based at our (newly to be established) office in Bangalore, India. The position will include international travel to and work for extended periods (up to a month at a time) at one or more of eMerchantPay’s European offices as required. The Senior developer will be invited to spend the initial 2-3 months of employment at eMerchantPay operations in Europe for initial training and induction.

Business Development Manager Travel
Location: Europe based


eMerchantPay is seeking a motivated payment sales professional to support its ambitious sales effort & growth and to help expand the company’s business in the Travel sector.

We are looking for a ‘hunter’ type sales personality with strong consultative selling skills and experience in the Travel sector including airlines, travel agencies and booking engines.

The ideal candidate for the position has an entrepreneurial attitude, with international experience and an established network within the Travel sector. He/she can be characterized as result orientated, open and sharing, and a competitive team player.

Further requirements/background:
- Academic level, preferably through education, possibly through work experience;
- Minimum 2 years experience in a sales role selling complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure or financial services in the Travel industry. Experience in selling card and full service payment processing strongly preferred;
- Fluency in English is required; other languages preferable;
- Likes to work in an entrepreneurial environment. Looking to work at the forefront of the market;

eMerchantPay is seeking an ambitious payment sales professional who will support the company’s expansion in one of the following industries: Software (digital downloads), Telco, Streaming media, Retail, Social networking – or Tickets and events.

The company is looking for a ‘hunter’ type sales personality with strong consultative selling skills. He/she has an entrepreneurial attitude, with international focus and experience in selling to one of the industries targeted (as listed above). He/she has a high energy level and is a results oriented, competitive team player.

- Academic level, preferably through education, possibly through work experience;
- Minimum 2 years experience in a sales role selling complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure or financial services (preferably to one of the targeted industries). Experience in selling card and full service payment processing strongly preferred;

Sales Specialists
Location: Amsterdam area, The Netherlands


For the new to be established Sales Centre in the Netherlands, eMerchantPay is looking for highly driven Sales Specialists to sell to small and medium sized merchants.

Within this new Sales Centre, the Sales Specialist will be tasked with Direct Sales (Outbound sales to small and medium sized merchants primarily through phone and email).
The ideal candidate for the position of Sales Specialist has an entrepreneurial attitude, with strong selling capacities. He/she is genuinely driven by commercial outcomes and has the ability to work with challenging targets. He/she has a good eye for detail, prepares well for each sales pitch and ensures all relevant data is logged and updated for future use. He/she has high energy levels and a ‘make it happen’ attitude.

Further requirements/background:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in selling primarily via phone and email;
- Fluency in English is required; other languages preferable;
- Preferably experience selling complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure or financial services (if possible within card and payment processing);
- Demonstrating a high degree of commercial insight and integrity. Self-starter with drive to succeed;
- Used to working in a fast paced innovative environment;
- Good administrative abilities, work is well organised and documented.
