Configuration
eMerchantPay Direct
  • Enable/Disable - Self-explanatory, you enable or disable whether or not you want to show the "eMerchantPay Payment Method" on your checkout page.
  • Title - The title that the customers see on the checkout page.
  • Username - Your personal Genesis username.
  • Password - Your personal Genesis password.
  • Token - Token of the terminal you would like to use.
  • Test Mode - Transactions go through our testing environment (no money is being transferred) or they go through our live (production) servers. Useful when you install the plugin for the first time and try to tweak all the settings.
  • Transaction Type - The type of transaction that should be attempted when the customer is redirected to the checkout form.
  • New Order Status - The status that newly created orders should have. You can create your own statuses via the System -> Order Statuses menu.
  • Payment from Applicable Countries - Whether or not you accept payments from everywhere or from a select list of countries.
  • Payment from Specific Countries - Select the countries in which you want "eMerchantPay Direct" to be available in.
  • Credit Card Types - Choose which credit card brands that you would like to accept.
    Note: This is different than the "Accepted type" configuration in your Merchant Panel.
  • Minimum Order Total - The minimum value of an order for "eMerchantPay Direct" to be available.
  • Maximum Order Total - The maximum value of an order for "eMerchantPay Direct" to be available.
  • Sort Order - If you have more than one payment method available, you can specify the order in which they are presented to the customer.

eMerchantPay Checkout

Troubleshooting
Currently supported version of Magento Community Edition: 1.7.X - 1.9.X.
This is the transaction initiated by the customer, depending on the selected payment method (Standard/Checkout).
You can capture a payment, following these steps:
  • Go to the customer's order (Sales -> Orders -> click View on the selected order)
  • Click the "Invoice" button
  • Locate the "Order totals" section (bottom right corner of the web page)
  • Select "Capture payment online" and click "Submit"
You can refund a payment, following these steps:
  • Go to the customer's order (Sales -> Orders -> click View on the selected order)
  • Select the "Invoices" tab on the right
  • Click on the invoice with status "Paid"
  • Click the "Refund" button
You can void (cancel) a payment, following these steps:
  • Go to the customer's order (Sales -> Orders -> click View on the selected order)
  • Click the "Void" button
